  Strike Action 7th July 

   

  You may be aware from media coverage that there are two planned strike days, organized by the National Educational Union (NEU), on Wednesday 5^th July and Friday 7^th July 2023.

   

  The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government and not because of any issues at our school.

   

  I am getting in touch to inform you that learning for some classes will be disrupted.

  If your child is in a class which is closed, where the teacher is taking industrial action, you will need to keep your child at home.

   

  If your child is in a class which is open, where the teacher is working that day, please ensure your child attends as usual. For these children it will be a normal school day.

   

  I will inform you as soon as possible if arrangements change further. I hope the letter is clear but if you need any further information, please call the school office for further clarification.
