  Strike Action: Tuesday 2^nd May 2023

   

  You may be aware from media coverage that there is a planned strike day, organized by the National Educational Union (NEU), on Tuesday 2^nd May 2023.

   

  The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government and not because of any issues at our school.

   

  I am getting in touch to inform you that learning for some classes will be disrupted.

   

  Tuesday 2nd May

  School is closed for pupils in   Pear Plum Julia Donaldson AA Milne Chitra Soundar Eileen Browne Michael Bond Roald Dahl Antinuke Mark Lowery Onjali Rauf Rick Riordan Michael Morpurgo Lewis Carroll Louis Sachar JK Rowling

  School is open for pupils in   Nursery Peach Dr Seuss Benjamin Zephaniah Malorie Blackman Beatrix Potter

   

  If your child is in a class which is closed, where the teacher is taking industrial action, you will need to keep your child at home.

   

  If your child is in a class which is open, where the teacher is working that day, please ensure your child attends as usual. For these children it will be a normal school day.

   

  I will inform you as soon as possible if arrangements change further. I hope the letter is clear but if you need any further information, please call the school office for further clarification.
